Grief

Grief is a journey that is

yours alone

Never let anyone say

I know how you feel, or

It’s time to get over it,

or even

You will get over it

It stays with you

You learn to live with it, and

Sometimes life is livable, and

Sometimes it is unbearable

So even though I'll have a wonderful time with my family this evening,
holidays suck.
